I told you there would be more giveaways coming up, well here's the first one.
This giveaway is a little bit different though. It's a sponsored giveaway.
What does this mean?
This simply means that a sponsor (instead of SCL) will be providing the prize. Other than that, everything else should run just as smoothly as past giveaways.
Who is the Sponsor?
This giveaway is sponsored by Trade4Cash.com.
At Trade4Cash.com you can trade in Skylanders and Disney Infinity figures as well as video games, consoles, iPhones, and even Legos. Use Promo Code: SCL to get an extra 10% cash on your trade-in. I (as well as a number of other SCL readers) have already used the service and had a very positive experience. You can read my full review here.

Good luck to everyone
I already got mine, but good luck to all who enter! I know some won’t go to GameStop, so this is your shot at power~!
Really hoping I can win this for my two kiddos who LOVE Skylanders! This is awesome that you are doing this. Thanks for the opportunity. Good luck everyone.
I stumbled upon this website and like it a lot, because my son is always trying to explain to me what Skylanders he needs, but I can never quite remember. I didn’t realize how hard it was to get a Kaos Trap!!!! I ended up buying one on eBay because NO store has any within 100 miles from us or online. We do have quite a collection of characters because we have Skylanders Giants, Swap Force and now just getting started with Trap Team. We also have the Disney Infinity, which is cool because my 5 year old (Autistic) daughter can play with brother. Even if they are just running around on the screen being crazy. The giggles are worth it! 🙂 When it comes to Skylanders, she TRIES to play along, but gets frustrated. She enjoys sitting back and cheering from the couch for brother to not get hurt by those Chompies! 😉
I think it would be nice if the makers of Skylanders, would make SPECIAL EDITION characters that had certain powers and proceeds went to research for that SPECIAL EDITION character. Such as Autism, Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Disease, etc. This would be awesome for children who are sick in the hospitals long term for a matched up character and have that character win for a reason why they are possibly in the hospital. Before my 7 year old nephew passed away, he and my son played Skylanders all the time. When he went into the hospital, he was there time and time again for months at a time. So my son would bring in his video games so they could play together. Even now, when my son is playing Skylanders, and he thinks that he is going to get beat by the enemy, all of a sudden he starts winning. He smiles and says, “Mama! Did you see that!?!? I think Riley was just helping me out so I could win!!!!!” To him it is MUCH MORE than a game. It is a connection with a memory of a loved one no longer with us.
*****This is not meant to be a sad post, but one that shows these games are sometimes much more than games. They are memories in the making. 🙂
