It all began at the beginning of February when I made the comment on Twitter: “These designs would make fantastic stickers.”
For the past 32 days @MrRollingCircle had been working on awesome little animations, but they had a very unique design.
The reaction to the designs had been very positive and the reaction to my sticker comment was rather positive as well.
I reached out to MrRollingCircle and after a few quick back and forths he provided me with the designs.
Now, I’ve never made stickers before, but I’m not opposed to trying new things once in a while. So I had a few sample stickers printed. Naturally, I chose my favorite Skylander, Camo.
I thought people had a strong reaction to the initial idea of the stickers, but they had an even stronger reaction to seeing the actual sticker!
This is certainly a good sign, but we still have another hurdle to cross.
Stickers aren’t cheap. I can’t justify spending thousands of dollars just to find out that no one will actually spend money on these stickers.
That’s why today we are opening up pre-orders for these stickers .
I need your help to bring these stickers to life!
Here’s how it will work:
During the pre-order period we will only be accepting orders for full sets of 32 stickers. Each set will include one sticker for each of the 32 original characters in Spyro’s Adventure.
If we make it through the pre-orders and get the stickers produced, stickers will be available to purchase individually.
Individual stickers will cost $2 each.
At that price point a full set would cost $64. But if you’re looking to buy the full set, I’m willing to give you a bit of a discount. A full set will only cost you $40 (37% off).
BUT I’m willing to take it one step further.
During the pre-order period I will offer additional discounts. If you order from:
March 7th – March 14th: $32 per set- March 15th – April 4th: $36 per set
March 22nd – March 28th: $40 per setMarch 29th – April 4th: $44 per set
Pre-orders will close on April 4th and we will move into the production phase.
